Back on track

Back in Canberra and feeling it may be beneficial to continue this blog detailing my daily life seeing that all my family and quite a number of my friends are located outside of Canberra, or outside Australia altogether.

University

University is getting serious and there has already been an assignment due. Was a speech on Schizophrenia and so far a self diagnosis has been avoided, though there are still many other illnesses we are yet to cover so don't get your hopes up. :P Beginning a Positive Bodies course which consists of 9 sessions, on Tuesaday, which shall hopefully help with some of the issues incurred by spending too much time alone in Japanese society and attempting to be a chameleon instead of a proud individual. The insights gained from that experience, as well as this course, shall most likely be useful in my future studies.

Employment

As of yet, no job. This is mildly distressing though slow progress is being made in the direction of employment and once it's found, then hopefully the troubles with Centerlink shall be lessened. Have been working on my resume on and off, though seem to be making some progress. Fairly sure that going back to Target momentarily is the best option. Money is still tight on my part, though Luke is more than helpful and so far the landlord is not chasing me for rent.

Adventures

Spent a very pleasant Easter with Luke's family in Coolamon. Luke's family seem like a wonderful bunch and were extremely welcoming to me over Easter. ^_^ They have a huge house and an impressive garden. Each day we enjoyed delicious food including a large whole fish (have not had fish since Japan) and cakes (including tiramisu ) with intermittent mini feasts of chocolate between.  My hot choc cross buns went over a treat which has lead to the borrowing of a Christmas Cooking book in preparation for the next get-together.

Still looking to visit family at some point, though just deciding a convenient time for all.

Luke is brilliant. Going to buy an axolotl. Began growing bonsai with Luke.

Take care all and wishing you happiness,
Senti
